Audit Quicker Cloud is a state-of-the-art professional productivity program tailored for auditing and accounting firms. It offers an array of features designed to enhance auditing capabilities, including the Document Markup Tool, also known as the Document Viewer. This tool enables auditors to interact with, analyze, and annotate documents effectively, streamlining the audit process.


Quick Extracts and Markup

The Document Markup Tool features several functionalities that are essential for in-depth document analysis:

  • Text Extract (blue): Allows for the quick selection and extraction of specific text sections from documents, making it easier to focus on relevant information for auditing purposes. Read more here
  • Table Extract (purple): Simplifies the extraction of tabular data, which can be seamlessly transferred to spreadsheets or databases, enhancing data analysis and reporting efficiency. Read more here
  • Sum Extract (yellow/orange): Automatically identifies and sums numerical values within a document, eliminating the need for manual calculations and speeding up the financial analysis process. Read more here

Markup Features

  • Exception Marking (red): Enables auditors to highlight and tag data points as exceptions, facilitating the identification and documentation of outliers or potential errors that require further investigation. Read more here
  • Validation Marking (green): Allows for the marking of data as validated, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used in audit findings, thus upholding the integrity of the audit process. Read more here

Cell Shift Options

After performing a Quick Extract, the extracted data is output to the selected cell in Excel. Audit Quicker Cloud provides three different cell shift options to enhance this process:

  • Shift Right: After data extraction, the selected cell in Excel will shift to the right, enabling auditors to perform subsequent extracts without manual adjustments to the spreadsheet.
  • Shift Down: Similar to Shift Right, but the selected cell shifts downwards after each extract, facilitating a vertical sequence of data extractions.
  • No Shift: The selected cell remains static after data extraction, allowing auditors to decide on the next steps without automatic adjustments.

These cell shift options are designed to streamline the data extraction process, allowing auditors to rapidly make multiple extracts without directly interacting with the spreadsheet.

Cell Linking for Cross-Referencing

When a Quick Extract is performed, the selected cell in Excel is not only filled with the extracted data but also highlighted with a specific color associated with the Quick Extract type. Moreover, this cell is linked back to the original document in Audit Quicker Cloud. This innovative feature enables easy cross-referencing between the spreadsheet and the document, significantly enhancing the auditing and review process by providing a direct link to the source of the extracted data.

Integration with Excel Add-in

The Quick Extracts feature is designed to work seamlessly with the Excel Add-in, allowing auditors to extract data directly into Excel worksheets. This integration ensures a smooth workflow and maximizes productivity by enabling auditors to utilize familiar tools while benefiting from the advanced capabilities of Audit Quicker Cloud.
