Begin by selecting a primary document that will serve as the basis for your template. This document should ideally represent the common structure of the documents from which you intend to extract data.
The Template Editor, akin to the Document Markup Tool, features two types of data extraction: Text Extract and Table Extract.
Add Quick Extracts to the primary document and utilize the output preview at the bottom of the editor to view and label each extract. For instance, label a Text Extract over an invoice number as "Invoice Number" to ensure consistent column placement across multiple documents.
After setting up your template, save and exit to store the template for future use.
Saved templates can be accessed from the "Templates" section. Here, you can edit existing templates or apply them to bulk extract data from multiple documents. For optimal results, ensure the documents used share a similar structure to the primary document.

Choose the documents from which you wish to extract data. Unlike template-based extraction, these documents do not need to have a uniform layout or structure.
Select the desired fields for data extraction from the multi-select field option. This flexibility allows for tailored data extraction based on specific audit requirements.
After naming your extraction, initiate the process. The AI Automated Extraction tool will classify and extract the specified data from the selected documents.
